Lunch at Krua Apsorn, ONE Bangkok (Excellent food!)
Krua Apsorn is a family-run restaurant started out by 5 siblings’ lifelong passion for cooking. They learned the family recipes passing down through the generations, which gradually developed their joy for cooking and their interest of tasting a variety of local ingredients found across Thailand.
Chanchawee Sakunkan or Aunty Dang is the main creator of Krua Apsorn’s recipes. Initially, her career wasn’t a chef, but she was a government official working at the Thai Royal Irrigation Department. As Aunty Dang was renowned for her meticulous cooking skills among her colleagues and superiors, she was chosen to cook a Thai meal for Princess Srinagarindra or King Bhumibol Adulyadej’s Queen Mother for the first time during Princess Srinagarindra’s visit to the Sirikit Dam in 1970. Because of Aunty Dang’s remarkable skills in cooking, not only has she been given opportunities to cook Thai meals for all the members of the Thai Royal Family during their dam visits but her cooking skills are also well-known among the Royal Household.

we have so many cute pics of the dogs!
thus Husky Cafe has a few types/breeds of dogs...
alaskan malamutes, japanese akita, samoyed, siberian huskies,
old english sheepdogs and Momo, the 15-16 year old Shitzu, and others
taking photos with the old english sheepdog
one is called KK, the one seated in the middle, he's friendly, gentle, obliging
the other called Jackie, restless and prefers walking about LOL

About Khao Yai National Park
Covering - 4 Provinces
Area - 2,206 Sq Km
Plant Species - 3,000
Bird Species - 320
Mammal Species - 66
Khao Yai was the first National Park in Thailand, established in 1962. It was declared an ASEAN Heritage Park in 1984 and listed as UNESCO's 184th World Heritage Site in 2005. The Park's average temperature throughout the year is approximately 21°C with a maximum in April of about 27°C.
Khao Yai National Park is in the western part of the Sankamphaeng Mountain Range, at the southwestern boundary of the Khorat Plateau. The highest mountain in the area of the park is 1,351 m (4,432 ft) high Khao Rom. It includes tropical seasonal forests and grasslands. Its waterfalls include the 80 m (260 ft) Heo Narok (เหวนรก), and Heo Suwat (เหวสุวัต) made famous by the film The Beach.
There are 3,000 species of plants, 320 species of birds such as red jungle fowl and coral-billed ground cuckoo, and 66 species of mammals, including Asian black bear, Indian elephant, gaur, gibbon, Indian sambar deer, southern pig-tailed macaque, northern red muntjac, dhole and wild pigs.
Forests in Khao Yai National Park cover an area of about 2,206 sq km, on a line of mountains at the edge of the Northeastern Plateau. This has made Khao Yai a critical watershed, receiving rain from both Andaman and South China Sea monsoon winds. Most of the forest area in Khao Yai consists of expansive grasslands or primary rainforest comprising Dry Evergreen Forest, Mixed Deciduous Forest, Montane Rain Forest, Tropical Rain Forest and Secondary Forest, each of which is the habitat for a diverse flora and fauna.
